Outreaches

Our mission, as the Admissions Team of New Hope Christian College, is to reflect the Great Commission with integrity and consistency in pursuit of mission-fit students by partnering with other like-minded organizations through outreaches, building relationships through recruiting, intentional follow-up, and guidance throughout the academic journey to develop a deeper understanding of God’s unique call for each student’s life and the significance of saying, “Yes!” to that call.

At New Hope Christian College we prioritize outreaches to local churches and communities. Outreaches give our students an opportunity to go out, to share the culture of who we are, and to express the love of God through serving. These trips provide students hands-on practicum experience in many different areas including worship, tech and production, public speaking, and preaching.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

(Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)

The heart behind our outreaches is to reach and inspire those who have felt the call from God to do something greater than themselves. In the past 5 months, we visited 12 Christian schools throughout the state of Oregon and partnered with 2 churches by providing worship and a word. All of these outreaches were spear-headed by our students in the areas of worship and tech. This summer, we are visiting Desert Song Community Church in Redmond as well as Waypoint Community Church and New Life Church in Springfield. We are so excited for our future partnerships with churches and private Christian institutions!

If you know of any organizations in the area that would be interested in scheduling an outreach, we would love to partner with them. You can contact us via email at admissions@newhope.edu, or give us a call at (541)485-1780.

“Outreaches are so fun, they were a great opportunity to grow in my giftings, to fill my spirit, and help serve the community. When I was a student, I got to dance, act, sing, and share my testimony with many around the world. I was able to connect with real people by being a living testament to other students that you don’t have to have it all figured out to pursue God’s call.”
