Brogan Markel

Resident Director, Men's Dorms

Education: Graduate of New Hope Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership. Associate graduated from Southwestern Oregon Community College with a degree in Applied Sciences in welding and fabrication.

Experience: Ministry has been the heart of my experiences with people and places. Here in Eugene, I have worked at Camp Harlow on their leadership team, learning and equipping others to share the gospel in a way that lets Kids know that Jesus loves everyone. My passion is pastoral ministry, whether that's working as an intern at New Hope West in the kids department for the past three years or serving as a student leader in the dorms as a residential assistant. I have found the most Joy in loving others and showing Joy in every opportunity God has given me to bless others.

About: I was born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon. I grew up raising cows, herding chickens, and learning about Jesus. I love to go fishing, ride four-wheelers out in the dunes, and most of all, spend time with family.
