The Human Services Concentration serves to train and equip Christian students to go into communities of need as servant-helpers, ministering to the disenfranchised in areas like entry-level social services, community outreach programs, non-profits, and more. On campus, students have the opportunity to work with executive pastors and organizational leaders in order to grow experience in this field and be prepared for the workforce after graduation.
Available to all degrees, the practicum serves as a hands-on learning experience in diverse ministry fields. Students are able to hone their skills in live situations as well as grow in numerous other skills. Through partnering with our on-sight church, New Hope West, students are able to experience ministry and develop their talents in a wide variety of areas.
