    WINSTON ARBLASTER

    MUSIC THEORY & GUITAR INSTRUCTOR

    Winston is an active performer, composer, and arranger. He teaches music theory, guitar, and worship leading,  and also serves as the Music Director at New Hope church in Eugene.

    Christina Maluhia Brown-Kiriakos

    VOCAL INSTRUCTOR

    Christina is an internationally known singer, ASCAP artist, and song writer, from Nanakuli Hawaii.

    Christina is best known for being a Cast member in Disney’s High School Musical: Get in the picture, filmed on location in Hawaii, Salt Lake City Utah, and Hollywood California. She is also an accomplished actor with credits including roles such as Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jane in Disney’s Tarzan, and Eponine in Les Miserable.

    She has studied under renowned instructors such as Regina Williams (Co-Executive producer with Discovery Studios) Nick Lachey (Singer, Actor, Television Star), Chris Prinzo (Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in Los Angeles), Rob Adler (Founder & Artistic Director, Alder Improv Acting Studio), Jenifer Malenke (Tony-winning Broadway revival of “Into the Woods”), Dorothy Yogi (MA Julliard) as well as Cindy Kenny (MA University of Hawaii).

    She is the founder of Oahu Music Studio, which has produced multi award winning students with credits including; 8 Hawaii Stars Winners, 15 Brown Bags to Stardom Winners, 5 Dis N Dat Soloist and Band Competition winners, as well as elite students performing with Sony Records, and the World Championship of Performing arts as part of “Team America”. 

    Although she now calls Eugene home, she continues to maintain an active role as a worship leader and song writer for three time Nahoku Hano Hano award winning group “NHO music”in Honolulu Hawaii.

     

      CINDY L. KENNY

      VOICE & ACTING INSTRUCTOR

      Cindy received her Master’s Degree in Music, with an emphasis in musical theatre, from the University of Hawaii.  She recently played the Baker’s Wife in ACE’s production of Into the Woods.  She’s also been seen in Eugene playing Fantine in Les Miserables, Lady Thiang in The King and I and Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music. Other roles include Nellie in South Pacific, Marion in The Music Man, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Mrs. Jefferson in 1776, Grace in Annie and Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro. She teaches drama and voice at New Hope Christian College. 

      SCOTTY MEARIG

      MUSIC & WORSHIP/DREAM RECORDS

      Scotty is a producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumental musician. As a musician he’s worked with Christians artists such as Lauren Daigle, Anthony Evans, Blanca, Brian and Kate Torwalt (Jesus Culture), Tom Smith (Soul Survivor), and Tiffany Thurston.

           In the secular music world he’s played for artists such as the Grammy award winning John Cruz and Na Hoku winners Kimie Miner, Imua Garza, Na Leo, DeAndre  Brackensick (American Idol), Yoza, and Afatia Thompson. 

           He has been a producer and songwriter for Dream Records since 2013 is credited on over 100 label released songs including a Billboard #1 Overall Christian (New Hope Oahu: Greater Together) and music for the feature films The Case For Christ and Gods Not Dead 3.

      JANA MEZAROS

      DANCE INSTRUCTOR

      Jana is a professional movement educator and artist. As a Master Teacher of the DanceAbility method (Germany 2017) she has taught inclusive dance pedagogy and led integrated movement experiences through mixed-abilities dance internationally. She serves as dancer, Rehearsal Director, and contributing choreographer for the DanceAbility Performance Company, with whom she has toured globally, under directorship of founder Alito Alessi. She trains annually with Kathleen Hermesdorf's La Alternativa, and has worked with notable choreographers Sara Shelton Mann, Katie Griffin, danced with Shannon Mockli, Harmonic Laboratory, and Cynthia Guttierez' Company Movimiento and has held artistic residencies in SF, CA, Portland and Eugene, Oregon.  She is the lead DanceAbility teacher in Lane County, working with organizations such as Arc of Lane County and Hilyard Community Center, and in 2019, through DanceAbility, worked in conjunction with the City of Eugene Cultural Services to bring inclusive practices to city events.

      She is grateful to be a part of the wonderful CA dept and community at NHCC.

      NEIL PATTON

      PIANO INSTRUCTOR

      • B.A., University of Oregon

      Neil is an award-winning pianist/keyboardist, singer, songwriter, performer, arranger, and producer working in the Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon. His sound ranges from the piano stylings of Elton John, Keith Green and David Lanz to the melodic rock of Journey to the art rock sounds of Kansas, Steve Morse, Alan Parsons and Genesis. He is also Pastor of Worship Arts at Eugene's Emerald Bible Fellowship.

        TIM SAVAGE

        VIDEO INSTRUCTOR

        Tim is an award-winning filmmaker. His 2014 release, Under the Blood Red Sun, received its continental premiere at New Hope Christian College and has since won awards from film festivals around the world.

        GORDON SCHLOSSER

        GUITAR INSTRUCTOR

        • B.S., New Hope Christian College

        Gordon has been engaged in contemporary worship music, as his primary focus, for the last six years. During his time studying at New Hope Christian College (NHCC) he toured as a vocalist and acoustic guitar player for the traveling team “Momentum”. His passion for music goes beyond just playing an instrument, but also includes refining the art of stage performance. He has served as the Worship Director for Our Saviors Lutheran in Salem Oregon and currently is on staff at NHCC where he teaches Guitar Skills and Private Lessons.

         

        KATRINA THOMPSON

        VOICE INSTRUCTOR

        Katrina is a dynamic and virtuosic vocalist, who serves as the vocal director on the worship team at Willamette Christian Center in Eugene.
