Christina brown-kiriakos

Vocal Performance Director

Education: Master's in "Formational Leadership," Lancaster Bible College
Baccalaureate in "Vocal Performance," New Hope Christian College.

Experience: I've been so blessed to have a diverse career journey. As the owner of Oahu Music Studios, I've been teaching voice for about sixteen years and have had the privilege of training winners of singing competitions locally and internationally. My role as a contracted instructor for Sony Music has allowed me to work alongside some of the very best performers in the industry. Collaborating with renowned artists, opening for Bruno Mars in 2011, and serving as a backup vocalist for artists like Natalie Grant, and Rachel Lampa, Jeremy Camp have been highlights of my career.  Additionally, I've had the opportunity to contribute to musical theater performances in the lead roles and songwriting for the New Hope Oahu Worship Band. My journey led me to television appearances on ABC's/Disney's "High School Musical: Get in the Picture."  In my current role as the Vocal Director for New Hope West Church and College, I've found joy in serving our vibrant vocal teams. This includes directing our Kid's Choir and Youth Ensemble, as well as overseeing operations at our newly established Music and Performing Arts Center. It's been a blessing to nurture and guide the next generation of musical talents within our community.

About: My faith has been the cornerstone of my life since my freshman year of high school, and I'm grateful to walk this journey with Jesus. I have a passion for travel and lifelong learning. I'm embracing the joys and challenges of being a mom to two little girls while also cherishing my marriage to my best friend.
