Creative arts
frontlines
The Frontlines emphasis trains and prepares students in the areas of dance, drama, and worship (vocal or instrumental). Students in the Creative Arts learn and grow in their craft and experience performing in front of a variety of audiences. Students are cross-trained in order that they may gain experience and skill outside of their main focus as well. In this way, students who graduate from the Creative Arts may not only be employed in their chosen focus, they may also be knowledgeable about the different teams that work together to successfully lead creative productions.
creative arts MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Creative Arts Program is to equip graduates with the tools and experience needed to oversee a thriving worship and creative arts ministry within the local church or para-church ministry while also pursuing the development and refinement of their “platform of excellence.
Practicum
Available to all degrees, the practicum serves as a hands-on learning experience in diverse ministry fields. Students are able to hone their skills in live situations as well as grow in numerous other skills. Through partnering with our on-sight church, New Hope West, students are able to experience ministry and develop their talents in a wide variety of areas.
