New Hope Christian College
New Hope Christian College is committed to helping our students complete their degree, and we have a number of programs to meet your educational goals.
Available to all degrees, the practicum serves as a hands-on learning experience in diverse ministry fields. Students are able to hone their skills in live situations as well as grow in numerous other skills. Through partnering with our on-sight church, New Hope West, students are able to experience ministry and develop their talents in a wide variety of areas.
“NHCC was a safe place to try things and make mistakes, which I believe is a very big part of life. My training here has also prepared me with job skills and has given me qualifying experiences.”
Bachelor of Science Ministry Leadership
The four-year Ministry Leadership program is hands-on ministry training with individual mentoring. Students develop knowledge of God that is intimate and accurate and the ministry skill to affect others. Emphases include business administration, counseling, education, and pastoral ministry.
Associate of Science Ministry Leadership
The two-year Ministry Leadership program sharpens students’ essential ministry skills through practical learning experiences and classroom instruction. Students graduate with the confidence and competence to make a difference in any church or parachurch organization.
“This is one of the things I love so much about our classes at New Hope: we receive education and book-knowledge, but we are also given specific ways to utilize that knowledge in our everyday lives and callings. For this purpose, many classes include both in-class and practicum hours. There are many opportunities around the campus and beyond to employ what we have learned in class, through venues such as on-campus jobs, tutoring other students, joining outreach teams, and so on.”
