Distance Learning Services

Mission

We are committed to providing excellent library service to all New Hope Christian College students, whether they are on campus, online or other delivery model.

 Eligibility

Students enrolled in an online or distance program who live more than 35 miles from campus and who do not come to campus on a regular basis are eligible for distance library services, including reference and research assistance, instruction in the use of library resources, and delivery of books, electronic files/documents and photocopies. A valid student ID# is required to access library materials and services.

Distance Learning Services are not available to students who take one or more courses on the NHCC campus, as well as persons not affiliated with NHCC.

Books

Distance Learning Services users may request that NHCC circulating books be mailed to them. Books are mailed to the student at no cost, but the student is responsible for returning them to NHCC via insured U.S. mail or UPS.

The user is responsible for adhering to loan periods. Borrowed items may be renewed via the online catalog. Distance learners receiving materials through the mail from the library collections are subject to the same overdue fines, replacement costs for lost items, and charges for damaged or mutilated materials, as all borrowers.
